Kansas City Chiefs Win Big

By Lamar Battle

The Kansas City (Missouri) Chiefs put the cap on a great NFL season by winning Super Bowl LIV 31-10 over the San Francisco 49ers.
The game did not disappoint as both teams fought tooth and nail until the very end. Here are just a few observations from the game.
The undeniable confidence of Patrick Mahomes:
The Chiefs quarterback shook off an apparent case of the jitters to rebound in the second half effectively putting his team in position to win. Patrick’s greatest strength (besides that howitzer of an arm) might be his ability to inspire his teammates.
A welcome and timely win for KC coach Andy Reid:
Coach Reid finally removed the monkey off his back and after a 50 year wait awarded the long suffering Chief fans with a championship.A more deserving recipient does not exist.
Super Bowl Halftime show:
It must be seen to be believed !
The San Francisco 49ers:
The Niners have taken tall shade in the games aftermath however we need to slow our roles just a bit.
Number one, 49ers quarterback QB Jimmy Garoppolo will be fine.  Jimmy played well for three quarters(actually outplaying Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes).  The problem is, an average NFL game is four quarters.
The 49ers boast league leading offensive and defensive lines, great coaching and superior skill position players there is no reason to believe that they won’t return to the big game. Garoppolo is new to the position and he will get better with time.
The Future
In the aftermath of one of the better recent Super Bowls the NFL finds itself in an enviable position with a slew of  dynamic quarterbacks and new blood coming from the college ranks the game is as strong as ever….
Now if they could just get that Kaepernick situation worked out.
